The National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria (NIMN) has revealed that its 2025 Annual Marketing Conference and Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held on June 19, 2025 in Uyo, Akwa Ibom.
The Registrar and Secretary to Council of the institute, Pat Sado, disclosed this during a media briefing in Lagos.
“This flagship event is a significant gathering that brings together thought leaders, industry professionals, academia, and marketing practitioners from across Nigeria and beyond. It provides a vibrant platform for critical discourse, knowledge exchange, and forward-looking collaboration—essential to advancing the marketing profession and its contributions to national development.
“This year’s conference, themed “Leveraging ESG in Driving Value Across Generations,” promises to ignite meaningful conversations about marketing’s evolving role in a purpose-driven, impact-focused world.
“As environmental, social, and governance (ESG) considerations become central to sustainable business strategy, we aim to explore how marketing can be a force for enduring value—not only for brands and shareholders, but for society and future generations.”
She said that the theme reflects the shared commitment to aligning marketing with responsible innovation, digital transformation, and long-term societal impact.
Sado added that the conference will feature an impressive lineup of keynote speakers, panelists of accomplished professionals, business leaders, who will offer diverse insights and practical strategies.
“Attendees will benefit from rich discussions, valuable networking opportunities, and meaningful professional engagement.
