The All Progressives Congress, APC, Uyo Local Government Area Chapter has formally adopted Prince Enobong Uwah as its political leader.

The endorsement took place during a well-attended stakeholders’ meeting convened at Prince Uwah’s residence in Uyo. The gathering brought together a diverse mix of party faithful both long-standing members and new members, creating an atmosphere of renewed solidarity and collective purpose.

Chairman of the APC Uyo Chapter, Mr. Gabriel Ikpe, presided over the meeting and reiterated the chapter’s commitment to inclusive leadership, party loyalty, and sustained progress. He pledged to work collaboratively with all stakeholders to strengthen the party’s grassroots presence and internal structure. Mr. Ikpe also commended the administration of Governor Umo Eno for its developmental strides across Akwa Ibom State.

Prince Enobong Uwah, who currently serves as Secretary to the State Government, SSG, addressed attendees with a call for peace, unity, and strategic engagement. He emphasized the importance of inclusivity as a catalyst for the party’s growth and encouraged members to work collectively to expand the APC’s influence within the LGA and beyond.

A symbolic highlight of the meeting was the official registration of Prince Uwah as a member of the APC, culminating in the presentation of his party membership card, a gesture that formally embedded him within the party’s structure.

The gathering also expressed strong support for the leadership of Governor Umo Eno and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, reaffirming the chapter’s commitment to their development-driven agendas and future political aspirations.

The Executive Chairman of Uyo and Chairman of ALGON, Rt. Hon. Uwemedimo Udo, emphasized his administration’s alignment with the ARISE Agenda of Governor Umo Eno and reiterated a commitment to inclusive governance and sustainable progress within the local government area.

Prospective members were encouraged to complete their registration with their respective ward chairmen, as part of broader efforts to deepen grassroots engagement and expand the party’s membership base.

The formal adoption of Prince Enobong Uwah as political leader represents a pivotal moment for the APC in Uyo, signaling a new era of unity, strategic direction, and renewed political vigor.
