Ten armed bandits met their end in the early hours of Monday, June 9, after security forces from the Presidential Force Squad, PFS, stormed Mai Tashi and Dan Jigba in Zamfara’s Munhaye District.
The swift operation in Tsafe Local Government Area didn’t just stop at the killings, it also resulted in the seizure of weapons and ammunition the attackers had on them.
A security analyst, Bakatsine, shared the news on his X handle, stating: “PFS security forces this morning neutralized 10 bandits and recovered weapons in Mai Tashi and Dan Jigba, Munhaye District, Tsafe LGA, Zamfara State. A major win in the ongoing fight against banditry,” Bakatsine wrote.
The coordinated hit adds to the growing number of tactical strikes aimed at dismantling criminal strongholds in Zamfara.
