Friendly: Super Eagles Fly Out To Russia Via Morocco

The Super Eagles left for Moscow last night for their highly anticipated international friendly with Russia, DAILY POST reports.

Eric Chelle’s side took part in the just concluded 2025 Unity Cup invitational tournament in London.

They won the tournament after a 5-4 penalty shootout victory over Jamaica at the Gtech Community Stadium, Brentford on Saturday.

The players and their officials flew to Russia via Morocco.

Eric Chelle’s side will face Russia at the Luzhniki Stadium, Moscow on Friday, June 6.

It will be the first-ever meeting between both countries at the senior level.

The Super Eagles are unbeaten in their last four games, with three wins and one draw.
