Former First Lady, Patience Jonathan, has been honoured with a doctorate degree in Psychology, Guidance and Counselling, given to her by the Ignatius Ajuru University of Education, Port Harcourt, during the institution’s 43rd Convocation Ceremony held on Saturday.

The event, which brought together dignitaries and well-wishers, also featured a spirited celebration led by women’s groups in her honour.

Jonathan was seen dancing with Rivers Women Unite For SIM, under the leadership of Sotonye Toby Fult.

A video capturing the moment has since gone viral, showing the former First Lady dancing joyfully alongside the women while they sang the controversial song, “Na our mama be this ooo…”, which raised eyebrows.

Amidst the jubilation, she addressed the women in her signature pidgin English, urging them to gather for a group photo before heading off to eat,”Make una come. Make we snap, let’s go and eat.”
