The reigning African Footballer of the Year, Ademola Lookman, visited President Bola Tinubu at his Lagos residence on Thursday, May 29.
The 27-year-old Atalanta forward visited the President with the 2024 Africa Player of The Year CAF award trophy.
Last December, Lookman was crowned Africa’s best in Marrakech, Morocco, taking the award from compatriot Victor Osimhen.
The prize is a recognition of Lookman’s outstanding exploits for the Super Eagles and his club side, Atalanta. His hat-trick at the Europa League final in 2024 gave Atalanta their first European trophy.
Lookman also had a fantastic 2024/2025 campaign, scoring 15 goals to help Atalanta qualify for the UEFA Champions League.
The Super Eagles star is currently holidaying in Lagos following a successful season in Italy.
