Super Eagles veteran Ahmed Musa, with nine home-based players and team officials, have arrived Gatwick Airport, London, ahead of the Unity Cup tournament.

The delegation touched down on Monday, marking Nigeria’s official entry into the international friendly competition designed to foster unity and showcase African football talent on a global stage.

Team captain Ahmed Musa led the squad, joined by local talents Ifeanyi Oyebuchi, Papa Daniel, Nduka Junior, Sadiq Ismaila, and Waliu Ojetoye, all handpicked by head coach Eric Chelle.

Also included in the traveling are Collins Ugwueze, Saviour Isaac, Abubakar Adamu, and Sikiru Alimi.

The foreign-based players invited to the squad are expected to join the team in London as full preparations for the tournament get underway.

The Super Eagles will open their campaign against long-standing rivals, the Black Stars of Ghana, on Tuesday, May 27, at the Gtech Community Stadium in Brentford.
