Grammy-winning singer Burna Boy has released “Tatata,” the lead single from his upcoming eighth album, ‘No Sign of Weakness.’
The track fuses Brazilian funk with Nigerian pidgin English and pop rap, featuring a verse from American rapper Travis Scott.
It nods to Equatorial Guinea’s Baltasar Engonga and his widely publicised s3x tape controversy.
Following the reggae-tinged “Sweet Love” and the hit “Bundle By Bundle” which gathered 24 million Spotify streams and 8.5m video views.
Burna Boy also teamed up with Joé Dwèt Filé on the “4 Kampé” remix, blending Afrobeats and Haitian Kompa into a global chart-topper.
