Akwa Ibom Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, Wednesday May 7, played host to the management of Wema Bank led by its Chairman, Ambassador Adenyinka Asekun, and the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, Moruf Oseni.
The team was received by the Governor in his office at Government House, Uyo.
Addressing the Governor, the team leaders, Asekun and Oseni said the visit was basically to appreciate the Governor for his support over the years and for sending good representation to its 80th anniversary which took place in Lagos on May 2, 2025.
In his response, the Governor appreciated the team for their visit, and assured of the commitment of his administration to support investments in the State by creating a conducive environment for businesses to thrive.
Other members of the management team were; the Deputy Managing Director, Wala Ajimisinmi; Executive Director, Tunde Mabawonku;
Regional Manager, Head Strategy and Business Development Manager, Eket, Chinedu Oha, Femi Akinfolain, and Nonye Ileogbunam, respectively.
At the visit were the Secretary to the State Government, Prince Enobong Uwah; Executive Assistant/Chief Delivery Advisor, Mr Aniefiok Johnson; Commissioner for Finance, Mr. Emem Almond Bob, Commissioner for Budget and Economic Planing, Chairman Internal Revenue Service, Mr. Okon Okon, Accountant General, Pastor Andrew Essien, Permanent Secretary Government House, Mr. Godwin Udoh and others.
