Nigerian forward Victor Osimhen was in sensational form on Saturday night, bagging a brace as Galatasaray stormed to a commanding 4–1 victory over Sivasspor in a Turkish Super Lig clash at Rams Park.
All five goals of the match came in a breathtaking first half, with Lucas Torreira opening the scoring in the 9th minute.
Osimhen then doubled Galatasaray’s lead in the 15th minute with a trademark finish inside the box.
The hosts continued their ruthless start when Barış Yılmaz added a third in the 21st minute, leaving Sivasspor reeling.
Osimhen returned just ten minutes later to net his second goal of the night in the 31st minute, pushing the scoreline to an emphatic 4–0.
Sivasspor managed to pull one back almost immediately, with Rey Manaj scoring in the 33rd minute to reduce the deficit to 4–1.
However, that would be the final goal of the game, as both sides failed to add to the tally in a quieter second half.
With the brace, Osimhen now boasts 33 goals for Galatasaray this season, officially surpassing his personal best of 31 goals scored during his breakout season with Napoli.
The Nigerian striker continues to write his name in Galatasaray’s history books, delivering big performances in crucial moments of the season.
Galatasaray remain firmly in the title race, with Osimhen’s form proving to be a decisive factor in their campaign.
