Popular Nollywood actress, Kate Henshaw, has corrected the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) after its handler made a grammatical error on the X platform.

The examination board made the mistake while responding to politician Peter Obi’s claim that young admissions seekers were made to leave home in the dark to write the university entrance exams as early as 6:00 a.m.

Responding via its official X account, JAMB wrote partly : “@PeterObi, Your Excellency,

I must assert that our examination is scheduled to commence at 8:00am, not 6:00 am. While verification and other clearance processes begins at 6:30am , it is imperative that candidates are afforded adequate time to settle in before the exam begins.”

Kate Henshaw then corrected JAMB, writing: By the way @JAMBHQ

“It’s not ‘while verification and other clearance processes BEGINS’

“It is ‘while verification and other clearance processes BEGIN!!’ I had all my education in this country. It was never this bad..”
