Convener of the Tinubu/Umo Eno Support Group, Pastor Michael Joseph Okon has tasked the Central Working Committee, CWC, of the organisation to rise to the challenge of coordinating the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Pastor Umo Eno respectively come 2027.
Pastor Okon who is the Chairman of the Coalition of Youth Leaders in Akwa Ibom State, managers of the Tinubu Umo Eno Support Organization, gave the charge on Saturday, while inaugurating the CWC of the Group in Uyo, stressed that members of the Committee were selected based on their proven antecedents to total belief in the ARISE Agenda of Governor Umo Eno and commitment to good governance in Nigeria.
He congratulated the Chairman of the CWC, Rev. Osondu Ahirika, PhD, on his emergence expressing confidence in his capacity to drive the vision.
“We’re confident your dedication to the ARISE AGENDA of His Excellency Pastor Umo Eno and insight into national issues will drive our vision forward. Your experience and network will be invaluable”, Pastor Michael Okon said.
Other members of the CWC of the Tinubu/Umo Eno Support Group include; Mr Charles Iwat, Comrade Ita Assam, Hon. Iboro Uko, Mr Uduak Jackson, and Hon. Deaconess Idongesit Akaniyene, Pastor Michael Joseph Okon (Convener) while Hon. Barrister Udokim Jackson will serve as the Secretary.
In his acceptance speech, Dr Osondu Ahirika, who is a serving Commissioner on the Board of the Akwa Ibom State Ethical and Attitudinal Reorientation Commission, EARCOM, pledged the unwavering commitment of the members of the CWC to actualising the sole objective of the group which is the reelection of President Tinubu and Pastor Umo Eno come 2027.
Ahirika also announced that the committee is subject to expansion and evolution as the group expands its tentacles across the State and beyond.
