FPRO ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi Loses Elder Brother, DCP Adejobi, CRAN Commiserates

The Crime Reporters Association of Nigeria, CRAN, a body of journalists covering the police and other security agencies is deeply saddened by the sudden death of elder brother to ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, Force Public Relations Officer, a Deputy Commissioner of Police DCP Akinade Adejobi.

In a thought provoking condolence message signed by the president of the Association, Olalekan Olabulo, it notes the altruistic contributions of the deceased to the development of the Nigeria Police Force, NPF, adding he would be generally missed by all and sundry for his sclerotic stand for justice, fairness and equity while he lived and served the nation. The statement added,

“The executive and members of Crime Reporters Association of Nigeria, CRAN, hereby write to offer our sincerest condolences on the passing of your beloved elder brother, DCP Akinade Adejobi. Our hearts go out to you and your family during this incredibly difficult time. The loss of a loved one is never easy, and we can only imagine the pain and grief you must be feeling. Your brother’s dedication to serving the Nigeria Police Force will always be remembered, and his legacy will live on through the countless lives he touched. Some of us who knew him can attest to the fact that he was a selfless servant whose unwavering commitment and unrelenting work ethic spoke volumes.

“His commitment to justice and public service demonstrated his characteristic amiable nature and we have no doubt that he will be deeply missed by his colleagues, the community he served,as well as the Nigeria Police We hope you find solace in the knowledge that his legacy continues through you and the impact you have made in your capacity as the Force Public Relations Officer. May his memory be a blessing to you and your family. Please accept our deepest sympathies on your loss. May DCP Akinade Adejobi rest in peace, and may his legacy continue to inspire and motivate those who knew him. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.”
