The Akwa Ibom State Police Command today, Friday, April 4, 2025, carried out a free medical outreach at the Itam Flyover and also extended its humanitarian service to Divine Children Home, Atan Offot, Uyo, where food items and essential goods were donated to the children.

A press release today by the PPRO, DSP Timfon John, said that it was part of the ongoing activities marking the maiden National Police Day celebration.

Led by the Commissioner of Police, CP Baba Mohammed Azare, the medical outreach provided free health checkups and medications to residents, reinforcing the Command’s commitment to public welfare beyond security duties.

At the orphanage home, officers of the Command interacted with the children, sharing moments of care and support.
