A resident, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said neighbors raised the alarm after discovering her in a pool of blood.

“She was found unconscious with a deep wound on her throat. People immediately alerted the police,” the source said.

Another resident added that security operatives arrived promptly and took her to General Hospital, Hadejia, where doctors confirmed her death.

When contacted, police authorities in the state confirmed the incident, stating that an investigation is underway to uncover the circumstances surrounding her death and apprehend those responsible.

“We are treating this as a case of homicide, and efforts are being intensified to track down the perpetrators,” a police source said.
