The recent visit to President Tinubu by Pastor Umo Eno and stakeholders in Akwa Ibom State has been viewed as a welcome development and a right step in the right direction.
The Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Christian Youth Matters, Apostle Samuel Inyang in his opinion while exchanging views with newsmen in Uyo over the weekend believed that the Governor’s visit has succeeded to restore unity, love and peace among the people in the state across party lines.
It would be recalled that the Governor led stakeholders from the state to an official visit to the President of County recently where many issues were discussed for the best interest of Akwa Ibom State, including Ibom Deep Sea Port.
Inyang who is also an Apostle in the Apostolic Church maintained that the visit has brought Akwa Ibom people together, irrespective of political divide.
According to him, “His Excellency, Pastor Umo Eno is a good leader who believes in love, oneness and peaceful co existence among citizens”
” He is a Pastor and he knows what the Holy Book says about a divided house, because he does not want to be a Governor of a State where there is disunity and rancour, he decided to bring everyone together as brothers and sisters, so I salute his courage and dexterity in governance”.
” He is a detribilised leader, no matter the tribe, religion and political affiliations, he deserves our commendation and support “.
He described Governor Eno as a good leader, bridge builder and peace maker for Akwa Ibom State, saying that his leadership style would attract more development to the state.
He used the medium to congratulate the Commissioners for Youth Development, Hon Ekerettte Ekanem and his counterpart in the Sports Ministry, Hon Elder Paul Bassey and described them as competent hands in the current State Executive Council.
The man of God maintained that these Commissioners whose offices are in charge of youths in the state would work tirelessly for the good of Akwa Ibom Christian Youths and also promised to support them.
Apostle Inyang appealed to citizens to support the Governor to actualise his ARISE Agenda for the state and promised to coordinate Akwa Ibom Youth’s to support the Governor to succeed.
