The All Progressives Congress (APC) has suspended Kabir Sani-Giant, the Special Adviser to Kebbi State Governor Nasir Idris on Power and Politics, over a bizarre incident involving a snake at the Government House, the News Agency of Nigeria, NAN, reports.

In a statement issued on Sunday in Birnin Kebbi, the party’s state secretary, Sa’idu Muhammad-Kimba, confirmed the immediate suspension of Sani-Giant.

According to the statement, the decision follows an incident on February 8, when Sani-Giant allegedly brought a snake into the Government House, causing fear and panic among dignitaries, statesmen, and officials.

Mr Muhammad-Kimba said that the conduct could embarrass and discredit APC.

He added that Mr Sani-Giant’s actions violated APC’s constitution.

According to him, the party deemed his behaviour offensive and embarrassing.

“His suspension remains in place pending further investigation and possible disciplinary action, which could lead to expulsion if repeated,” Mr Muhammad-Kimba said.
