Akwa Ibom Governor Pastor Umo Eno has reiterated that his administration will continue to prioritize the security and welfare of the people, emphasizing that security is a key catalyst for attracting investors and tourists to the state.

Governor Eno made the commitment while flagging off the construction of a Command and Control Center, CCC, in Uyo. The facility, designed to centralize and digitally manage security operations in the state, will enhance the state’s efforts to combat crime.

“The center will make our state uncomfortable and unwelcoming for criminal elements and their cohorts,” Governor Eno said. “It will provide a one-stop hub for information sharing and real-time response to security issues.”

He assured that the state government would ensure proper funding for the project, emphasizing that there would be no variations in the cost. “We have paid enough to get this project started and will continue to pay as the project progresses,” Pastor Eno stated.
