Chief Judge of Akwa Ibom State, Justice Ekaette Obot has eulogised the late First Lady of the State, Pastor (Mrs) Patience Umo Eno saying she was indeed a mother to all.


Justice Obot who led members of the judiciary on a condolence visit to the State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, said she recieved the sad news with great shock, but urged the Governor and family to be consoled by her good nature and her legacy which, according to her, will remain ever green.

Leading a prayer, for the family ,one of the judges referenced Jeremiah 18:1-6, ” O house of Israel, can I not do with you as this potter has done? declares the LORD. Behold, like the clay in the potter’s hand, so are you in my hand, O house of Israel”,saying that man is like a clay in the potters hand.

In his response, the State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno appreciated the team for the visit saying the family were strengthened by the outpouring of condolences.

He also appreciated the judiciary for the harmonious working relationship with the other arms of government, saying it has largely contributed to the peace and development in the State, and expressed hope that it would be sustained.
