Akwa Ibom Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, PhD, has sacked the Managing Director of Ibom Power Company Limited, Engr Meyen Etukudo, with immediate effect, over blackout.
This is contained in a press release signed the the Secretary to the State Government, SSG, Prince Enobong Uwah, dated 14th November, 2024.
Engr Etukudo has been directed to hand over to the Hon Commissioner, Ministry of Power, who is to supervise the Company till further notice.
