After Hezbollah’s Nasrallah Was Killed Iran Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Transferred To Secure Location

Iran’s supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, has been transferred to a secure location inside the country with heightened security measures in place, two regional officials briefed by Tehran told Reuters.

The sources said Iran was in constant contact with Lebanon’s Hezbollah and other regional proxy groups to determine the next step after Israel announced that it had killed Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah in a strike on south Beirut on Friday.

SituationReport had reported that the Iran-backed Lebanon’s militants group, Hezbollah, confirmed that its leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah was killed in Israeli’s airstrike on Friday.

A statement by the group on Saturday, confirming the incident, however, maintained that its battle against Israel “in support of Gaza and Palestine, and in defence of Lebanon and its steadfast and honourable people” remained.

It was reported earlier that Israeli’s Defence Forces announced that it had killed Nasrallah in a devastating airstrike in Beirut which it’s shockwave was felt 18 miles away.

According to Reuters, Hezbollah’s Al-Manar TV started airing Koran verses after the announcement of Nasrallah’s death.

SaharaReporters earlier reported that Israeli’s Defence Forces had on announced on Saturday that its largest airstrike at headquarters of Hezbollah in Beirut the capital of Lebanon had killed leader of the Iran militant group.

“An overall intensification of air strikes and degradation in the security situation has been noted, impacting the safety of airspace over Israel and Lebanon,” the agency said on in statement on Saturday as cited by AFP.

The European Commission and the European Union Aviation Safety Agency had also warned airlines to avoid Lebanese and Israeli airspace for the coming month.

The warning by European aviation authorities came amid intense air strikes and missile fire between Israel and Hezbollah.
