Late CP Ayilara: Attorney General Pays Condolence Visit To Akwa Ibom Police

Akwa Ibom Commissioner for Justice and Attorney General, Mr. Uko Udom, SAN has described the death of Late CP Waheed Ayilara as painful and unexpected. He appealed to officers and men of the Akwa Ibom State Police Command to be consoled in the fact that the Late CP lived a life worthy of emulation and left a remarkable legacy on the sands of time.

The State Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice made this position Thursday 5th September, 2024 when he led the Solicitor General/Permanent Secretary and other management staff of the Ministry of Justice to the Police Headquarters in Ikot Akpanabia on a condolence visit.

He extended the condolence of the Ministry of Justice to the Police and urged Officers and men to be consoled as such was the will of God.

In her response the Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of Administration DCP Regina Udoette who received the AG with other management staff of the Command appreciated the AG and his team for the visit. He said, ever since the Command lost the Late CP Waheed Ayilara that Nigerians have extended so much concern to the Command, these and many more DCP Udoette said are well appreciated by the Command.

DCP Regina Udoette thanked the visiting team for the show of solidarity and promised that the Police in Akwa Ibom State is even more strengthened to do more in line with their professional ethics for the overall well being and security of lives and Properties in the State.
