AFCON 2025 qualifier: We’ll get a win against Super Eagles — Benin Republic captain Mounie

Benin Republic captain Steve Mounie has declared that the Cheetahs are up to the battle against the Super Eagles of Nigeria.

The Cheetahs defeated the three-time African champions 2-1 in June.

Mounie stated that they would go all out for another win this time around.

“With the spirit we have in the team now, we don’t give up. We will try to fight together on the pitch, and that will be important tomorrow,” Mounie told a press conference in Uyo on Friday.

“It doesn’t matter who scores or makes the assist, the most important thing tomorrow is to get a result.”

Saturday’s clash will hold at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo.
