Gov Eno Congratulates Akwa Ibom-born New Deputy Comptroller General Of Immigration

The Akwa Ibom Governor, Pastor Umo Eno has felicitated an indigene of the State, Inyang Essien Anietum on her elevation to the position of Deputy Comptroller General of Immigration Service.

In a message of felicitation released by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Ekerete Udoh, Governor Eno congratulated her for being the first Akwa Ibomite to attain that top position in the Nigerian Immigration Service.

“On behalf of the Government and people of Akwa Ibom State, I join your family, colleagues and associates to congratulate you most heartily on your well- deserved elevation to the position of Deputy Comptroller General of the Nigerian Immigration Service, the first Akwa Ibom indigene to be so elevated.”

Governor Eno who described her elevation as a product of hardwork, discipline and diligence in the course of service to her fatherland, also lauded the can-do Akwa Ibom spirit she has been identified with.

The Governor expressed regrets at his inability to attend the DCGI’s formal decoration ceremony in Abuja on Wednesday due to “a long planned official State engagement outside the country”, however promised to receive and celebrate the Amazon, upon his return to the State.

“I will be available and ready to receive you and celebrate you anytime you are in Akwa Ibom.”

“Akwa Ibom indeed is Rising.”
