Lagos Gov Sanwo-Olu appoints Samuel Egube as Deputy Chief of Staff

Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has announced the appointment of one of his reliable aides Samuel Egube as Deputy the Deputy Chief of Staff.

Egube was the former Commissioner for Economic Planning and Budget in the first term of the Sanwo-Olu administration.

His reappointment was rejected by the Lagos lawmakers who had insisted that the governor appoints more qualified politicians in the cabinet.

Egube, one of the very reliable ally of the governor would be replacing the late Deputy Chief of Staff, Mr Adegboyega Soyannwo, whose remains was laid to rest last week.

The governor who dropped the hint at the commissioning of 15 new Omnibus ferries at Ajah-Badore, said the new DCoS would be sworn in at the Lagos House, on Wednesday.

Egube, who was born on March 5, 1969, is a Fellow of the Institute of Credit Administration (FCIA), Member of Nigerian Institute of Management (AMNIN), Member of, Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN), and Honorary Senior member Chartered Institute of Bankers.
