Veteran Kannywood actress, ‘Fati Slow Motion’, is dead

Fatima Usman, a veteran Nigerian actress known as Fati Slow Motion, has died. Mansura Isa, a Kano-based activist, revealed the actress’s death in a Facebook post on Tuesday.

According to her, the actor died on Monday night in Habasha in Sudan, where she will be buried today.

Condolences would be received at her family house at Ungwa Uku in Kano.

Confirming the incident, Executive Secretary of the Kano state Censorship Board, Abba El-Mustapha shared her photo on X and wrote: “INNALILLAHI WAINNA ILAIHIR RAJI’UN. Allah Ya Yiwa Jaruma A Kannywood FATIMA USMAN(FATI SLOW), Rasuwa.

“Muna Addu’ar Allah Ya Jikanta Ya Gafarta Mata Kurakuranta Yasa Aljanna Ce Makomarta. Idan Tamu Tazo Kuma Allah yasa Mu çıka Da Kyau Da İmanı. R.I.J.F ”

‘Fati Slow Motion’ had been in the Kannywood movie industry for over 15 years.
