Akwa Ibom CP Ayilara Hosted Naval War College Members In Uyo

The Commissioner of Police, Akwa Ibom State Command, CP Waheed Ayilara, alongside members of his management team hosted Members of the Naval War College Nigeria, (NWCN), Naval Warfare Course 8 (NWC 8), Led by the Deputy Commandant and Director of study/Team Leader, Naval War College, Commodore M. IDE, and Commodore S. Elhussuime at the Command Headquarters, Uyo, on Wednesday, April 17, 2024.

A press release signed by the Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, Akwa Ibom State Police Command, ASP Timfon John, mnipr, said that the CP, who was represented by DCP Regina Udoette together with other management team of the Akwa Ibom State Police Command received warmly the Staff and Course Participants of the Naval Warfare Course 8 led by Commodore M. IDE, Deputy Commandant and Director of Study/Team Leader.

Highpoint of the event was a Paper Presentation by the Deputy Commissioner of Police, in charge of Operations, DCP Baba M. Azare on behalf of the Commissioner of Police, to the Staff and Course Participants on the Topic STRENGTHENING SECURITY AGENCIES’ COLLABORATION TO COUNTER ILLICIT ARMS PROLIFERATION FOR SOCIO-ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT IN AKWA IBOM STATE”.

Among the Delegates were 9 Faculty members of the Naval War College, 24 Senior Officers of the Armed Forces which comprises 17 from the Nigeria Navy, 2 each from Nigerian Army and Nigeria Airforce, 10 Administrative Staff and 3 International Participants, one from Cameroon, Ghana and the other from Guinea-Bissau.
