Gov Eno Announces N200m Interest-free Loans For Arewa Community In Akwa Ibom

The Akwa Ibom Governor, Pastor Umo Eno has announced a N200 million interest-free loan for the Arewa community in Akwa Ibom State.

Governor Eno said the same interest-free loan would be extended to the Yoruba; Igbo and Niger-Delta communities in the State..

He also appointed an aide in charge of Non-indigenes Affairs and another one to oversee the Arewa Community.

The Governor made the announcements when he met with the Muslim community in the state led by the leadership of the Akwa Ibom Council of Islamic Affairs (AKCIA) at the Government House, Uyo.

The AKCIA delegation comprised the Chairman, League of Imams in the State, Imam Abubakar Sadiq, Alhaji Hassan Sadauki (Sarakin Hausawa, Uyo, Alhaji Maruf Olobode Sani, Imam Ibrahim Okesina and Imam Bello Dahiru.
