The Transition Committee Chairman of Nsit Atai LGA, Rt. Hon. Emem Ibanga has inaugurated the local government palliatives committee today, 2nd April. 2024 at the council.
The committee which is headed by the chairman, has the Vice Chairman, Elder Ekoi Obong, the Paramount ruler, Edidem Peter Okon Effiong, the DPO, SP Emeka Nnorom, Director of DSS, Ediomi Peter, CSC Usukuma Christopher of NCDC and the Head of National Council of Women Society ( NCWS), Lady Affiong Okpoho as members.
Other members are Mr. Edet Edet Ossom who represents people with disabilities, Hon. David David as the representative of the media, Evang. Edemiko Okon Edemiko represents Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Comrade Emmanuel Johnny is the youths representative while Mr. Saviour represents the Red Cross.
The Council chairman appealed to members of the committee to be diligent in the discharge of their duties and should do as much as they can to carry everybody along.
