The Commandant General Special Intelligence Squad of the Nigeria Security & Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has uncovered an illegal oil bunkering site in Ubeaku Waterside in Ukwa East LGA of Abia state.
Large cooking pots, tanks, and drums, were destroyed and over 22,000 litres of automotive gas oil (AGO) was impounded by the team.
The NSCDC shared photos in a post on its X handle on Thursday, March 28, saying: “NSCDC commandant general special intelligence squad (CG’s sis) burst illegal oil bunkering site destroys large cooking pots tanks & drums impounds over 22,000 litres of automotive gas oil (ago) at Ubeaku waterside in Ukwa East LGA of Abia state.
