Nigeria’s President Bola Tnubu has sacked the son in-law of former President Mohammadu Buhari, Junaid Abdullah as the Director-General of the Border Communities Development Agency (BCDA), just under 2 years to wrap up his second four-year term as that Agency’s head, AiT.live reports.
Tinubu in his place, approved the appointment of Dakorinama Alabo George, an ex-Commissioner for Works in Rivers State as a replacement to Junaid Abdullah.
Alabo George holds a PhD in Construction Management; an MSc in Quantity Surveying and Construction Engineering, and a B.Tech in Quantity Surveying.
He is a fellow of the Certified Institute of Practising Professionals, USA; a fellow of the Association of Strategy Professionals, USA, and a member of other distinguished associations.
A statement by the President’s spokesperson, Ajuri Ngelale says President Tinubu also approved the appointment of Dennis Brutu Otuaro as Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP).
Dennis Otuaro holds a PhD in Comparative Politics & Development Studies; an MSc in Public Administration, and a BSc in Education.
He had previously served as a top-level executive of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) with a surfeit of experience across multiple sectors, including infrastructure development, security, environmental remediation, as well as oil and gas.
