The Senate has suspended Senator Abdul Ningi (PDP – Bauchi Central) over his claim that the National Assembly padded the 2024 budget with a whooping sum of N3tn.
He was suspended at the plenary session held on Tuesday, March 12, 2024, at the Red Chamber.
The session was presided over by the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio.
He lamented that the integrity of the Senate has been totally damaged.
