UK Bans Nigerian Health Workers, Others From Bringing Dependants

The United Kingdom has prohibited health and care workers from bringing dependents into the country.

The UK Home Office announced this via its verified X handle (previously Twitter) on Monday, March 11, 2024.

“From today, care workers entering the UK on Health and Care Worker visas can no longer bring dependants.

“This is part of our plan to deliver the biggest ever cut in migration,” it wrote.
