Niger State Govt Renames Minna Airport After President Tinubu

The government of Niger State has renamed Minna International Airport after President Bola Tinubu.

The airport, formerly known as Dr Abubakar Imam International Airport, has now been named Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Airport.

The President was in Minna, Niger state, Monday, March 11, 2024 to officially flagged off Agricultural Revolution Project, commissioned the Minna Airport, and laid the foundation of the Hajj Terminal.

The state’s commissioner for Information and strategies, Hon. Binta Mamman said that in addition to the commissioning of the airport, the President inaugurated the 5,000 pieces of agricultural equipment procured by the state government.
