Governor Bassey Otu of Cross River has approved the appointment of The Nation’s correspondent in the state, Nsa Gill, as his new Chief Press Secretary.
Until his appointment, Gill was the Cross River state chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalist (NUJ).
The appointment which was with immediate effect was contained in a statement signed by Prof. Anthony Owan-Enoh, Secretary to the State Government on Monday, March 11,:in Calabar.
Otu who had earlier approved the appointment of 83 aides reassigned his former CPS, Emmanuel Ogbeche to the post of special adviser, media to the Governor in Abuja and Linus Obogo as special adviser, media and publicity.
