Anthony Joshua and Francis Ngannou are set for a heavyweight showdown on Friday, March 8, 2024, night in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Ngannou continued with the mind games ahead of Friday’s fight with Joshua, saying he’s an underdog to the Nigerian Briton.

Just his second professional boxing tie, Ngannou dragged Fury the whole ten (10) rounds in his first fight and even managed a knockdown. The pendulum, however, swung in Fury’s favour way that time.

Even with that feat the Cameroonan still feels he’s inferior to Joshua who’s had an inconsistent run in recent times.

Joshua, 34, has a 26-3 record having defeated Otto Wallin in five rounds in his last fight last December.

Both men met for their final weigh-in on Thursday and while Ngannou, 37, was quite expressive, Joshua wouldn’t give much away.

“This is just my second fight. Even though it is against two best fighters in the world. Obviously, I’ve learnt some new things from the last fight, but the mindset is still the same.

“I’m the underdog because this is their terrain, but if we meet in any other place I will take both of them (Fury and Joshua) at once,” Ngannou said, drawing laughter from his accompanying team.
