Juventus Midfielder, Paul Pogba, Banned 4 Years From Football

Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba has been banned from sport for four years after failing a drug test, according to Italian media sources.

The French forward was found guilty of testing positive for testosterone.

He performed a routine drug test following Juventus’ victory over Udinese on August 20.

Football journalist Fabrizio Romano confirmed this on his X account.

According to La Repubblica, the punishment was handed to him by an anti-doping prosecutor’s office based in Italy.

The Red Devils’ most expensive player of all time, made 223 appearances for United, scored 39 goals and 51 assists for United.

Pogba will be close to 35 years old when his ban expires in 2028.

The 31-year-old fought to prove his innocence after initially failing the test, he also provided a counter-analysis B-sample in October which also came back positive.
