Cairo Ojougboh Screamed At VAR, Slumped And Died: Grief Masks Nigeria’s AFCON Victory Over South Africa

All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain and former member of the House of Representatives, Ika federal constituency and Executive Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, Chief (Dr) Cairo Ojougboh is dead.

Dr Ojougboh who was the Akinuwa of Agbor Kingdom according to sources slumped while watching the Nigeria vs South Africa match. He was said to have slumped the moment the VAR cancelled what was supposed to be Nigeria’s second goal and awarded a penalty against Nigeria upon an infringement that occurred before the goal scored by Victor Osimhen.

A fearless politician who spoke truth to power, Dr Ojougboh was also a very controversial politician in his very assertive statements.

“As soon as a penalty kick was awarded against Nigeria during the AFCON match with South Africa on Wednesday’s semi-final clash in Bouake, Ivory coast, he slumped”, according to the source.
