FG To Support Nigerian Airlines’ Growth, Expansion – Keyamo

Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Mr Festus Keyamo, has said the Federal Government is committed to supporting the growth of Nigeria’s airlines to ensure they flourish at a worldwide level.

A statement by the Special Adviser on Media and Communications to the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Mr Tunde Moshood, noted that Keyamo said this in London during a meeting with the management of NORSE Atlantic Airways, led by Chief Executive Officer of the Airways, Mr Ben Boiling.

It said the discussion centred on strategic partnership between NORSE Atlantic Airways and Air Peace.

The Minister stated that it was important to break new grounds and foster partnerships to sustain the viability of Nigeria’s aviation industry.

While Keyamo commended the partnership with NORSE Atlantic Airways as a positive step towards facilitating growth within the sector, he underscored the role of aviation in President Bola Tinubu administration.

On his part, Boiling expressed gratitude for the Minister’s involvement in the discussion and affirmed NORSE Atlantic Airways’ readiness to commence partnership with Air Peace pending final authorisation for direct flights into Gatwick Airport from Lagos, Nigeria.
