IGP To Launch Special Intervention Squad To Tackle

The Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Kayode Egbetokun, is set to launch a Special Intervention Squad (SIS), to curb the activities of kidnappers in some parts of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

He said the special operations, when launched, would be deployed to all Area Councils in the FCT.

For weeks now bandits have been kidnapping and Killings residents of Bwari Area Council.
