Following the incessant rate of kidnappings and killings of Abuja residents by bandits, the Minister of Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike is currently holding a high profile security meeting with security heads in the nation’s capital.
Also in attendance at the meeting are Area Council Chairmen, to whom he issued a directive to enhance their efforts and address the challenge effectively.
Wike said he is working round the clock in combating the bandits.
He urged Abuja residents not to panic.
The minister assued that normalcy will soon return to FCT.
