All is now set for Eket Christmas Carols as renowned gospel artistes Mercy Chinwo, Nigeria’s number one reggae gospel singer Buchi, Aity Dennis Inyang, Esther Edoho, Eno Eva, El Mafrex, Great Daniel, Yadah, Bobby Friga, Blessed Etukudo, Oku Pius Akam, Victor Odungide, Margaret Ekefre Inyang, and other notable gospel artistes storm Eket city for soul-lifting, sensational, impactful, and entertaining Christmas Carols.
According to the release made available by the Central Planning Committee (CPC), the 5th edition of the carol festival will take place today, Sunday, December 17, 2023, at Eket Township Stadium, starting at 2:00 p.m. Nigerian time.
Eket Christmas Carols is an initiative of Akwa Ibom State Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Makpisong Frank Archibong, and other great friends, aimed at providing a platform for the people of Eket and its environs to show gratitude to God for His unmerited favor and grace and to end the year in grand style and in thanksgiving.
This year’s edition will also feature a popular clergyman and National Chairman/Chairman of Conference, United Evangelical Church, Rev. Samuel Ebukiba, as Guest Minister.
