Frank Archibong Receives 31 LG Transition Committee Chairmen

…canvases support for Pastor Umo Eno’s ARISE AGENDA

The Honourable Commissioner, Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Mr. Frank Archibong, has charged the 31 Local Government Transition Committee Chairmen to prioritize grassroot development as encapsulated in the ARISE Agenda of Pastor Umo Eno.

Mr. Archibong gave the charge on Tuesday, 12th December, 2023 while playing host to the newly inaugurated Transition Chairmen at his office in Uyo.

Speaking, the Commissioner urged them to key into the state government’s economic blue print and support Governor Umo Eno’s ARISE Agenda in order to fastrack meaningful development and ensure peace in their various domain and bring governance closer to the people at the grassroot, while also assuring them of a better Akwa Ibom under the leadership of Pastor Umo Bassey Eno.

In their response through the ALGON Chairman, Rt. Hon. Iniobong Robson, the Transition Committee Chairmen thanked the Governor for his effective leadership and promised to ensure that governance gets closer to the grassroots. They further pledged their unalloyed loyalty and total support to the Governor and promised to efficiently translate the governor’s blueprint as captured in his ARISE Agenda for the general interest of Akwa Ibom people.
