Governor Umo Eno’s administration has shown unwavering commitment and dedication to inclusivity and empowerment of physically challenged students in the State.
On assumption of office, the Governor had launched the first N100M Education Trust Fund for physically challenged students in tertiary institutions – a testament to his ARISE Agenda blueprint that seeks to invigorate the educational sector of the State.
The first batch of beneficiaries have already received payments, a significant step towards ensuring equal opportunities and a brighter future for these special students. Its not just about financial support, but also a message of encouragement, a statement that physical challenges are not barriers to achieving academic excellence.
The Governor’s vision extends beyond immediate aid. With arrangements for subsequent payments underway, the Trust Fund promises sustained support, ensuring that the journey of education for these deserving students is not hindered by financial constraints.
The ARISE Agenda is more than a plan – it’s a movement. It’s a commitment to a golden era where every citizen, regardless of their physical abilities, can rise to their full potential.
